ALUMIL SMARTIA M8200 is a vertical glass support system, designed for the construction of glass railings. All series solutions are distinguished for their modern aesthetics and extreme durability.
In order to highlight the perfection of the M8200 series in terms of durability and safety, we tested the bases in real conditions. We also simulated strong wind loads hitting railings in tall buildings (ex. 30 floors).
In addition to the standard tests (50Kg impact, horizontal load KN/m), we performed challenging tests with increased wind speed, pushing the system to its limits. As a result, the M8200 was certified for resistance to wind pressure, up to 5000Pa, which is equivalent to a speed of 310Km/h.
After expanding the M8200 series with new bases that allow placement on the edge of the balcony, these certifications for extreme resistance to wind pressure, enhance and complement the features of the system. In conclusion, it is worth mentioning that after passing these demanding safety tests, ALUMIL can compete in large-scale international projects, meeting their high-performance requirements.
