The Great Journey

Concept and design for the travel agency “As Travel”.

The design inspiration mostly came from traditional Island architecture such as Zanzibar, Mauritius, Bali and the Maldives.

The aim was to establish a connection with nature, history, culture, and heritage, wherefore clients would experience the journey and feel the strong emotions when visiting all these beautiful places, even before actually being there.

The interior combines rough, natural, and soft materials, which together create a warm and comfortable ambiance. We used pieces of unique and beautiful tiles to create an artwork composition, a sort of mosaic, making the floor a focal point in the project.

Though we never forget about one's origins, we decided to conserve the original structure's ceiling arches, which were quite interesting and perfectly fitted the spirit and soul of the whole design composition.
