Nila Beauty Center

Located in first floor of a residential building in Tirana, the apartment came up with the idea of creating a configuration to maximize the accommodation of clients and creating contemporary and comfortable Beauty Salon space.

The challenges of this project, was to change the function of the space from the existing to a beauty salon, saving materials of the floor, walls and the ceiling as much as we can. The configuration of the linear space and the requirement of the program involved in separating the space in 3 different areas - waiting area, workstation and the washbasin area.

Four solid gold metal structures that contain double sided fixes mirrors, connected together with the working table, are placed in the center of the place, so this configuration can accommodate 8 clients. The two other sides of the room correspond to the waiting area, a wood floor place outlined with porcelain tiles defining the reception area and the walkways to the workstation and wash basin area, a delimited space through the use of microcement coating at the other side of the room.

At the center of the space, behind the workspace area, we designed a bookcase for products, which is connected with the columns wood cladding panels, and LED strips panels define rectangular shape part of this product bookcase

In the project are used a different type of lighting, the main ones two spotlights fixed in the ceiling above the seating chairs at the workstation. The rest of the room receive lighting from the pendant lighting and the LED profiles fixed in the ceiling, walls and furniture.
