HIGHLIGHT: YUKO NAGAYAMA

Early life and career

Yuko Nagayama (born in 1975, Tokyo Japan) is an internationally active Japanese architect. In 1998 she received B.A. at Showa Women’ s University, Department of Human Life and Design. At first she worked about 4 years for a famous architectural studio Jun Aoki & Associates and in 2002 she founded Yuko Nagayama & Associates.

Professorship

She is not only an architect but also an accademic. Since 2005 she's been lecturing in Tokyo University of Science later on (2008) Lecturer of Kyoto Seika University, Lecturer of Showa Women’s University (2009), Lecturer of Ochanomizu University (2010), Lecturer of Nagoya Institute of Technology(2011) and lately Visiting Professor at Musashino Art University (2020).
