'Nëna Zahide' is our concept for a kindergarten for the children of the city with the initiative of the Municipality of Skënderaj. Given the name itself, the concept of the project started with the idea of creating a shelter or a house for children.
This concept was developed starting with the outline of the house like any child, a square with a triangle and then depending on the terrain it was fragmented into several different modules separated by function and connected via a transparent bridge.
This transparent bridge or corridor creates the possibility of increased natural light and ventilation, but also gives the possibility of contemplating the surrounding greenery by removing the monotony during the transition from one module to another.
The backyard offers a variety of different outdoor activities and is contoured by a miniature runway that surrounds the yard and traverses the building itself.
