Beach Bar

Our idea when creating this beach bar was that it should represent nature. The space that was offered
to us to create, has been a place of relaxation for years.
Everything has been in its most basic form, but more than enough to give the required serenity.
What we aimed to do was to stay true to this idea by adding elements that enriched, facilitate and
enhance the impact that nature has on a person.
We choose wood (bamboo), straw and textile. Based on a study, if one hugs a tree for 60 seconds, it
increases relaxation and happiness. That is why wood takes up a considerable amount of weight in this
project.
While working with the proportions and lightning, we wanted to focus on elements that stayed in
harmony with the sea. That is why the area closest to the sea seems like a play created by the waves.
The shape, materials and lightning became our tools that helped us make this space breathe.
