Përshkrimi
Habitat Hotel is situated in Tirana, in vicinity of the new ring road, within the “Delijorgji” Residential Complex.
The hotel occupies the first two floors of the north-western residential block facing the Lana River and features services suited to its business character: a lounge area, bar, restaurant, meeting/conference room, spa, etc.
The interior design concept is developed in order to create a privy experience beyond the industrial tactility of the exterior of the existing structure. This attempt is realized by the use of materials measurable to the eye, and the intimacy provided by the delicacy and artisanal quality of sensorial materials, applied in a sleek and contemporary approach. The atmosphere of each space is enhanced by the usage of stone, brass, zellige tiles and stained glass panels.
A refined application of brass accents particular surfaces in the main entrance, reception, and hallways. While the Zellige tiles, traditionally handcrafted with unrefined natural clay kneaded with water, moulded by hand, dried naturally and fired in a kiln, apart from serving as a wall cladding element, also gain an elaborate installation quality. Stained glass filters the light to the kitchen and provides an artistic translucent, lightly painted wall.
In total the hotel comprises of 30 rooms, varied in different sizes and compositions, carefully studied and selected to fit not only the building’s existing structure but also to serve the needs of its customers.
