In this world, we manage to experience reality and interpret the beauty of this reality, with the eyes, giving us the freedom to live by appreciating the greatness of this reality, without limiting life to the struggle for survival. Light makes elements of everyday reality seem completely magical. In simpler terms, everything changes!

In this reflection at the beginning of the year, we would like to dwell more on the meaning that light gives to our reality with its presence, than on the strength that this meaning takes through its absence.

Many artists and designers have developed their philosophy on light, but today we will focus on the philosophy of Studio Formafantasma, for whom the light is undoubtedly important in several aspects.

It is functional light, which refers to the lighting apparatus needed to use a space, but also emotional light, the color it gives to the world it illuminates. Thus, cold light is used more in workplaces, not in homes.

For Studio Formafantasma, light has the ability to serve as a filter for the quality of people's lives, and this is also the reason that Formafantasma is dedicated to the design of luminaires such as WireRing, where the soft force of design prevails, a luminaire with a lot of impact, which it does not appear as such physically.

Studio Formafantasma, created a unique light that oscillates between a wall lamp and a floor lamp. Wirering has a minimalist design, without any ornamentation, with a ring of light held firmly to the wall by a special rubber electrical cable. Once assembled, the luminaire transforms into a light source while taking the form of an architectural sculpture.

Studio Luce by Abiesse, decicated a 700 m2 space to a light gallery, with the philosophy on light, handled by the world most famous designers in lamps that are a genuine work of art.
