Vila Ura

Vila Ura is family vacation home located near the center of Shëngjergj village. The main concept of this project was based on recycling architecture. The external walls, the internal dividing walls, and also 2/3 of the façade will be made out of solid bricks, which once belonged to the industrial warehouses from the communist era. In the basement there will be a water container with a filtration system,  harvesting rain water and turning it into reusable clean water for the house, making it completely independent from the water supply grid. On the roof the house, there will also be hydraulic pipes in the form of a water heating solar panel, taking care of the hot water supply without depending on electricity.
