Agapanthus Vila

The house is built on the highest point of Nikiana, on the east side of the island of Lefkada on top of a green hill from where you enjoy panoramic views over the nearby islands. The project by Revergo Architecture included the design of the interior and exterior spaces of a 200m² holiday home with a ready-made frame, exterior walls and swimming pool.

The building is presented on three levels and operates for rent for holidays during the summer months. On the ground floor are the living areas, including the kitchen and living room, as well as a bedroom. The other two rooms are located on the ground floor, while the basement features a small gym with care area, equipped with steam bath. The interior design was influenced by the future use of the building for rent during the holidays, creating a clean, warm space. The white color of the walls is combined with natural materials, such as wood, bamboo, cane and wicker straw throughout the furniture and decorative elements. Natural light dominates the indoor environment, large spaces offer a total unification with the outdoor environment. At the same time, the windows offer an unobstructed view of the Ionian Sea. The exterior areas are modeled in the same style; here, the space is organized in distinctive areas with multi-level outdoor lounges, following the terrain and keeping in touch with water and landscape elements.
