MKO Apartment

A sense of quietness and a light filled space was brought by designing with white and a punctuation of anthracite contrasting elements. The space was left open with a translucent metal separation between the kitchen and the living area, in order to create a little privacy but let the light penetrate as well. The hallway has a custom-made giant closet with an incorporated a seating area for tying your shoes.

The concept of the teenager’s room was to create a multifunctional room where sleep, study and leisure take place. We incorporated the study area/desk with bookshelves around the window and the toilet/getting ready desk with a mirror.

The closet which is attached to a seating area, is used for a hangout with friends but also serves as a reading nook. The color on the walls and ceiling was used to create a boundary of the calmer area, where the bed and the nightstand lie.
