UDV Architects, Alexarredo and Smeg Albania worked together to create a contemporary kitchen where the key word is Linea. Smeg’s Linea Collection celebrates the first element of design – the ‘line’. Effortlessly simple, balanced and unashamedly minimal, Linea is at home in the most modern of kitchens.
The Linea range consists of a number of products developed by SMEG's internal design studio. Distinctive products that incorporate modern minimalist design trends, the Linea aesthetic is characterised by symmetrical lines, balance and light.
The ovens, cooktops and hoods are all extremely ergonomic and designed to maximise the available space, any combination will make a real style statement in the kitchen.
Particular highlights are the handles, the transparent control knobs, and the remarkable use of glass. The latter, when combined with stainless steel, make for a stunning interpretation of the latest trends in design.
The top performance and cutting-edge technology of the appliances should not be forgotten, either. Examples include max-capacity electric ovens, and high-performance cooktop burners.
Every Smeg aesthetic range makes the best out of it when combined with small domestic appliances. Smeg iconic small appliances include kettles, toasters, stand mixers, blenders, coffee machines, juicers. For this kitchen, UVD Architects suggested the coffee machine in red and the toaster wrapped in the English flag. Feel free to choose your favourite one.
