Challenges

The hotel is located in the coastal part of the city of Limassol on the island of Cyprus, near the archeological site of Amathus. The view of the Mediterranean, the respect of the rich tradition of the area and the need to create a modern hotel complex, are the main elements of the challenge called Hotel & Residence Amara.

Solution

When designing the hotel, SB Architects wanted to incorporate Mediterranean style into the character of the project. As they mentioned referring to the project "influenced by the assessment of the natural environment of the island, the design creates an eternal connection between the island and the sea".

All of the above are evident in the 208 rooms and suites of Amara, as they have a 180-degree view of the Mediterranean Sea off the coast of Limassol. The interior of the rooms has a premium feel that underscores luxury through simplicity and without any further “fuss”.

Every Amara space is accentuated by the natural Mediterranean light that has spread throughout the building. Extensive spaces supported by strong thermally insulated aluminum systems and facades play a key role in this, enhancing natural light and completing the “enigma” of impressive design. The visitor has the opportunity to enjoy the unparalleled view from his/her room or to enrich the experience of his/her stay, walking and weaving through the areas of the restaurant, bar, spa or gym, all designed to detail.

Hotel & Residence Amara is a 5-star hotel that impresses the visitor with its size and model. Hence, its name is derived from the Greek word "amarantos" meaning eternal! Apparently, the vision of the creators of Hotel Amara is to enchant every guest by offering ... eternal memories!
