'Blue' Restaurant

‘Blue’, just like the view in front of the restaurant, was the first piece of the mosaic that helped us conceive the whole concept for this new restaurant positioned near the Cape of Rodon, along the Adriatic Sea.

When it comes to building that close to nature, we should aim to propose designs that create less negative impact and that use less components that are far from it.

The usage of natural materials and textures, and their implementation in the restaurant’s interior was another element that accompanied us along the process of design.The interior has a style that mixes tonalities of warm colors and lightweight materials with a touch of luxury, which create unique atmospheres at different times, and that will make the user’s experience in the restaurant cozy and pleasant.

The wooden beamed ceiling, and blue colored panels, contrast the other part of the interior which is warmer. The terracotta walls, are decorated with green plants, which is another component we have added to the restaurant’s design.

Another particularity of this interior, is an aquarium we aim to implement in the middle of the restaurant, between the dining tables. It becomes a part of the interior without contrasting too hard the other components, yet it creates a vibrant atmosphere and somehow becomes a symbol of this restaurant.
