International awards
Ever since the 50 century when ASKO began their journey as a small producer of appliances, they have been richly awarded for their design, functionality and innovations. Now, almost 70 years later ASKO is proud of the recived recognition for the premium level of design, quality, and performance of the products. Below you can find a small collection of some of the awards ASKO received through the years.
Good Design Award Gold 2022
ASKO’s Wine Climate Cabinet was awarded the Good Design Award Gold in the product design discipline.
European Product Design Award™ 2022
The European Product Design Award™ recognizes the efforts of talented international product and industrial designers who aim to improve our daily lives with their practical, well-thought-out creations. ePDA shares their innovative and ground-breaking products with the world.
iF award 2022
Selected ASKO DW60 dishwasher models were granted an iF DESIGN AWARD 2022. A market leading 20-year product lifetime combined with low consumption figures, when it comes to water and energy, and a timeless design makes the ASKO DW60 dishwashers the most sustainable out there with a minimized environmental impact.

The innovative ASKO Elevate™ induction hob with integrated extraction were granted an iF DESIGN AWARD 2022. With the ASKO Elevate™ hood in hob, your creativity is no longer confined to the hob. By removing the extractor from the wall or ceiling, you can view your kitchen from a completely new perspective: A blank canvas where anything is possible.
iF Design Award 2020
Developed to blend in contemporary living spaces, these cooker hoods offer a great solution to create an open kitchen space. They can be perfectly integrated in a kitchen cabinet or ceiling, available in various dimensions for a close-to-wall installation or above an island.
Red Dot Award 2019
True to the motto “In search of good design and innovation”, the international jury of the Red Dot Award focuses on criteria such as the level of innovation, functionality, formal quality, longevity and ergonomics when assessing submissions. During 2019, ASKO has received an award for ASKO’s T600HX Dryers available in two colors and several different specifications.
APDC*IDA Design Excellence Award
Five products from the ASKO Elements range have been awarded ‘2018 Winner’ in the international design competition organised by APDC*IDA. The products are: ASKO Gas/Induction Hob HIG1995AB ASKO Built-in Coffee Machine CM8478G ASKO Combi Steam Oven OCS8478G ASKO Warming Drawer ODW8128G ASKO Cooker Hood CW4930G ASKO’s Gas/Induction Hob HIG1995AB, even received the ‘Product Design of the Year’ trophy in the product design class.
Red Dot Award 2018
This international award ranks amongst the largest, most prestigious, and most well-known design competitions in the world. Since 1995 an international jury has reviewed submitted products based on innovation, functionality, and quality. During 2018 ASKO received the award for three products: Elements Coffee Machine CM8478G BI-Refrigerator R31842I BI-Freezer FN31842I
Nordic Fresh Built-in Refrigerators Red Dot Design winner from ASKO
The Nordic Fresh range are made for customers who wants uncompromising kitchens where form and function are equally important. The products are easy to integrate in all types of kitchens, with minimal gaps to adjacent furnishings. The doors offer an exclusive feel and have a soft-closing function which prevents glass bottles and other sensitive loads from bumps and damage.
Red Dot Best of the Best Award 2017
The new ASKO Pro Home Laundry concept have been awarded with the Red Dot Best of the Best. The winners are from the Logic user interface range; Washing machine W4086C and Tumble dryer T408HD.

Since 1995 an international jury has reviewed submitted products based on innovation, functionality, and quality.
