I Graduated in Architectural Sciences and further in the Architecture - Construction department at the Polytechnic of Turin. My academic training took place between two universities, the Polytechnic of Turin and Etsam of Madrid. I have been working in world of light and Lighting Design for about 7 years, with my work in the development of lighting projects in the company A BI ESSE in Tirana.
My desire for a creative and inspiring profession, my love for painting and beauty guided me towards architecture. The passion for lighting design came gradually, after my first experiences in interior design.
Every project is always a new challenge.
The biggest challenge for me is the moment of the first sketch, from where the ideas start to develop.
This moment is always exciting. What happens next is work, study, research to materialize this idea.
Architecture, like any other form of artistic expression, is a very big responsibility.
It is a product of the quality of our thoughts.
It defines the way we live, it has the power to define the way we interact with each other and the world around us.
To myself and to anyone at the beginning of their career, I would say:
"Never stop searching, dreaming, being curious. Never stop developing new knowledge to develop your thinking and imagination. Surround yourself with brilliant, ambitious, open-minded, curious and positive people, because the people you surround yourself with will affect the quality of your thoughts. And the quality of your thoughts will determine the quality of your life."
Any stimulus that affects the development of imagination is inspiring in my life and work. Literature has always been one of the greatest sources of inspiration for me. Also painting, music, nature.
Lightning Design
The Silhouette is "a wave of light" that ripples with the volume it illuminates. The lamp is designed for outdoor environments to illuminate a tree or a wall. Placed around a tree, the lamp hugs its body and branches with its curved shape. Leaning against a wall, "Silhouette" is a sculpture with its volume and shadows during the day and a wave of light effects at night.
