Airborne Villa

A quiet, grounded volume gently placed within a sparse pine landscape, this project explores the balance between minimal form and natural context. Defined by a continuous, monolithic frame, the architecture creates a protected inner world while remaining visually open through expansive glazing. The horizontal gesture emphasizes calmness and connection to the terrain, allowing light, shadows, and seasonal changes to shape the experience of the space.

Materiality is restrained and tactile—soft neutral surfaces contrast with the transparency of glass, blurring the boundary between interior and exterior. The house does not dominate its surroundings; instead, it settles into them, framing views, preserving the existing trees, and embracing the stillness of the site.
