Përshkrimi
The project to aims to redesign an existing building according to the needs of the new branch of Stopanska Banka in Ohrid is an attempt to combine existing architectural elements and a new, contemporary interior expression. The building is being developed on three levels: basement, ground floor and attic.
Within the basement level, there are counters with back-of-house amenities, as a space for receiving and handing shipments, designed according to a unified and standardized approach in order to enable the safe functioning of the bank's activities. Within the framework of the ground floor, there are four workplaces for a sales advisor, one workplace for a sales manager, a closed office, a waiting room and a flight of stairs leading to the contents of the attic. Through the stairs on the ground floor, you can access the part of the attic, where you enter directly into the part of the lobby, which is followed by the meeting area, a kitchenette and a toilet.
The existing condition of the building is characterized by the dominant brick walls that are impressive both in the interior and on the facade design of the building. As such, they represented the starting point for the concept of the new intervention in the interior space. The challenge of the spatial distribution of the program is to create functional solutions for the individual segments, while still accentuating the characteristics of the existing elements and preserving the construction.
Black pieces of furniture, reflective metal surfaces and minimalist ceilings are the new attributes of the interior that create a clean and contemporary atmosphere in the space. The floor surfaces are made of polished concrete, which, with its minimal expression, allows the brick to be the main accent of the building's interior.
