Kronos Agrotourism

“Kronos Agrotourism” is considered an ambitious and visionary project. The beginning of its conceptualization started 5 years ago.

"Kronos Agrotourism" is located in Guzaj, Shijak, Durrës, in an area with mixed plain-hill terrain. This variation of the relief gives the area not only an idyllic landscape but also the potential for the development of different activities each season of the year.

The area of the developed property is approximately 14075 m2. The concept of “Kronos Agrotourism” is based on the establishment and development of a business that relies on local production which promotes the culinary, and agricultural products and the natural beauty of the place. The basis of the products is provided by the locals, and a part by the business itself which offers various services and guides for itineraries in natural attractions of the area.

The coordination of these functions in a common space is a challenge at the level of an urban and architectural composition.

Aesthetically, the goal is to present a good compositional unity between the objects with different functions, by making clean volumes with natural materials that respond to the respective functions.

The volumes are well harmonized with the context through the purity of the forms and materials used. They are positioned mainly in the northern and eastern parts, by creating free space for camping and various outdoor activities in the southern part.
