This architectural intervention is located in the southern part of Tirana, on the green hill in front of the Teg shopping center.
It tries to create a game of interlocking volumes, seemingly randomly placed, where it takes the conceptual inspiration on volume articulation from the old vernacular dwellings of Tirana. The combination of volumes is created by the functional articulation of the interior spaces, which are spread over 2 floors above ground and one floor underground. These interior spaces are quite dynamic both horizontally and vertically, with double empty spaces of different heights within the rectangular boxes.
The underground floor is quite rich with diverse functions that enjoy a special and intimate treatment of the penetration of zenithal light in different forms studied according to the orientation of the premises.
The exterior cladding will be a combination of pumice-based limestone (guri leçez) and geometric glass slits, which will create a harmonious play of light and shadow with the movement of the sun or with artificial lighting at night.
