Black×Black Apartment

Designed with the affinity of black accents, the interior acts as a background so that 'life' could be added to it.

Industrial materials such as the metal wire were put together intentionally with the black marble in order to create the juxtaposition of industrial and natural. This approach can be seen in the bookshelf/tv stand, coffee and dining table.

In addition, the black mate kitchen placed in the back wall creates a perspective depth and spaciousness to the open space where the living, dinning and cooking happens. The apartment is filled with natural light which allowed for an easy use of black.

The closets placed in the bedroom, corridor, study room and bathroom were all custom-made and designed for the particular room in order to maximize the space as well as the closet storage.

The bedroom which is also custom-made, was designed with calm and serenity in mind, creating a place to unwind from the day. The same logic expands in the bathroom where the tiles and the custom-made cabinets play as a background, whereas the black accents of the mirror, shelf, basin and shower tap, are the highlights of the space.
