Dhërmi Tourist Infopoint

SON Engineering & Construction has designed an Infopoint for visitors in Dhërmi. Located along the national road, at a level about 5 meters above the road quota, the dilapidated building constitutes the most suitable position as an information space for tourists.

Preserving every element of the existing building, this stone ruin, built around the 1800s, is overlaid with a concrete structure which mimics the silhouette of a traditional house of Dhërmi village.

At the same time, the modern minimalist structure highlights the new function of the object. The entrance is accessed through the existing courtyard on the south façade, which allows direct access to the ground floor as well as to the first floor via external stairs.

In an area of about 27m2 for each floor, it will be possible to provide the necessary material and touristic and cultural information for each visitor.
