Based on the specific requirements for maximum utilization of the allowed construction coefficients – given the high cost of land in this area – the entire program of the project is divided into three volumes.
This division is made focusing on the best use of natural physical parameters, such as light and ventilation, as well as the extraordinary views that the terrain offers.
As a result, these three units are placed in an escalated form. This approach, in addition to enabling each floor to have a giant terrace in the visual context, also avoids the possibility of buildings hindering each other in maximizing the utilization of these magnificent parameters offered by the Swiss landscape.
In attempt to achieve a more organic articulation of the whole ensemble of three buildings, the scaled dwellings are wrapped in walls which try to follow the natural topography of the terrain.
In this way, the massive volumes, especially the first two buildings, blend easily into the topography and vegetation of the place, without risking to seem arrogant and imposing.
