1. Architectural Review

The Architectural Review was launched in London in 1896. It is an international architecture magazine, providing diverse and insightful coverage of topics such as landscaping, building design, interior design and urbanism. This publication was persuasive after the Second World War in raising awareness of urban design.

2. Architectural Digest

The Architectural Digest is an American monthly magazine founded in 1920. Its principal subject is interior design, not just architecture. The magazine is published by Condé Nast and addresses topics like design, celebrity style, travel and shopping information. Furthermore, Twelve issues are published per year.

3. Domus

Domus is an architecture and design magazine that was create in 1928. The magazine is issued 11 times a year and has its headquarters in Rozzano, Milan. The first issue of Domus, was titled “Architecture and decor of the modern home in the city and in the country” and it was published in January 1928.

4. Casabella

“La Casa bella” was born in January 1928. Its initial name was La Casa Bella (The Beautiful Home). In 1933, the architect Giuseppe Pagano became editor, changing the name to Casa Bella. Casabella is a monthly Italian architectural and product design magazine with a focus on modern, radical design and architecture. It includes interviews with the world’s most prominent architects.

5. Metropolis

Metropolis Magazine, founded in 1981, covers a massive array of design-related topics, ranging from interior and graphic design, to landscape and architecture. It is published 11 times per year. Within the pages of magazines, readers are exposed to ideas, concepts and themes that transcends borders.

6. El Croquis

El Croquis (translates to English as “The Sketch”) is one of the most prestigious architectural magazines in the world. Its first issue was launched in 1982 and it publishes six issues per year. The leading international architects choose it as their showcase. The volumes dedicated to established Pritzker Prize names like OMA Rem Koolhaas, Kazuyo Sejima, Herzog & de Meuron, Alvaro Siza or Rafael Moneo, are considered their respective oeuvre complète.

Azure features interiors, products, landscapes, urbanism and architecture. However, Azure releases eight issues per year and it is a distinctive magazine on contemporary design.

l’Arca International is the first magazine published in three languages (French/Italian/English) entirely devoted to the world of modern-day design. Architecture, design and visual communication are the focal points of every single issue. It was back in 1986 when the magazine l’Arca was published in Milan, and immediately made its mark on the international publishing scene due to its originality, the quality of its contents and its innovative and carefully designed graphics.

Dwell magazine was launched in 2000 and focuses on the function and the comfort of homes. People are encouraged to showcase their own homes and apartments in Dwell and concepts, elements and designs are featured in a classy and cultured style. Dwell encourages readers to be innovative with their designing ideas.

10. Dezeen

Dezeen is an online architecture, interiors and design magazine based in London. Launched by the end of November 2006, it has 2 million unique visitors every month. Dezeen was named best architecture blog in the world by The Independent newspaper in 2012, and it  was also included in Time magazine’s “Design 100” list of the “most influential forces in global design”.
